So; What’s This Network Marketing Thing All About?
The simplest definition of Network Marketing is that it’s a system of distributing products and services directly to the end user by means of a network of local, independent distributors or contractors.
Its really all about getting the product to the end user directly from the manufacturers warehouse to the purchaser with a minimum of re-handling and wholesaling. This method “cuts out the middle man”, freeing up the massive costs associated with storage & distribution which can then be paid to the independent distributor!
It’s sometimes easier to understand Network Marketing if you consider it to be similar to franchising. The biggest difference, however, is that Network Marketing distributors have the right to expand their business by helping others to set up their own businesses. In the industry this is commonly known as “sponsoring”, and the sponsor will usually have such tools as online presentations and hands-on help from experts (including their own sponsor) to assist in the process of helping others to set up their business.
One thing that Network Marketing is NOT, is a “pyramid scheme”. Such schemes are illegal almost all over the world because members are paid for signing others into the scheme. Whilst it’s true that most Network Marketers do actively seek out new distributors for their products, they are NOT paid for sign-ups and in fact are only paid when the distributors they sponsored begin to move products or services, at which time they receive a small commission FROM THE COMPANY. The distributor they sponsored does not pay them a penny. They can in turn sponsor others, and when they do they too will receive a commission from the company once their sponsored distributor begins to move products, not before.
Because most distributors of Network Marketing products or services typically sell by word of mouth on a part-time basis (at least at the start of their careers) the products themselves have to be of excellent quality so they’re effective and easily sold, with good prospects of repeat sales. The other up-side of high quality, easily sold products or services is that many consumers will decide to upgrade to distributorship both to save on their own product purchases and to earn a little extra income of their own.
Many very famous and high profile companies use the Network Marketing model without many of their customers even realising it! Such companies include Avon, Tupperware, Amway and the like.
I’ve taken my Network Marketing research very seriously, and done due diligence on several respective companies and even the sponsors who would have introduced me to those businesses. This is to maximise my chances of success in the industry and I am now a proud independent distributor of AGEL products which I believe are the future of nutrition. As you’d expect Agel products all come in the form of a gel pouch, ensuring rapid and complete absorption in the body.
They’re delicious, too!
